looking for ancesters and family. 3g gf joseph ellis b july20 1800 in frodsham.  gf joseph & gm elizabeth married 1804  & father b 1907 in 1907 in garston. have direct line to present. would like to find other relatives and ancesters. any help appreciate any help. will share any info i have.

caroleW  thanks for response. my dates were incorect. joseph b 1800 was my 4th gf. my gf & gm joseph and gm elizabeth were married in 1904, and father was born in 1907. i have the marriage license and dad's birth certificate.  sorry for the mistakes.  lesls.

thanks for the responses to my query. my direct line of ellis's was late in comming to the states. my gf joseph b 1879 in widnes, he and my gm moved to the garston area. they married in 1904 in garston. my father joseph was born there in 1907. the family migrated to the states thru canada around 1913 ending up in the state of washington. i have traced my line back to frodsham in jan 13, 1785.  i would like help in locating brothers and sisters, cousins ect . i have found a few , but many are still out there. also have found very difficult to find ancestors of 4gf samuel ellis and 4gm margaret williams. thanks for any clues you can come up with.

Can you confirm the following is correct

Joseph Ellis b 1879 Widnes married Elizabeth (maiden name not given but possibly Hignett as per LancashireBMD) in 1904 in Garston.   

A son Joseph, was born to Joseph & Elizabeth in 1907 in Garston

Joseph & Elizabeth & family emigrated to the US in 1913

i have traced my line back to frodsham in jan 13, 1785.  i would like help in locating brothers and sisters, cousins ect

caroleW thanks for responding. to answer your questions:1. my gf joseph ellis,b 27 apr 1879 in widnes did marry my gm elizabeth hignett, b9 sep 1879 in widness,on 11 jan 1904 at st cuthberts parish in everton ? (hard to read 1st letter). my father joseph leslie ellis ,b 27 apr 1907 in garston, liverpool. i have certified copies of all birth certificates and the original marriage certificate in my possession.

2. my father and gf told me they left england around 1913 and went to canada and then to the states. i do not know how long they were in canada. my gf's 7 sisters brought their mother to the states "during the 1st world war". they settled in tacoma, washington by 1919.

3. the brothers and sisters ect i referred to were others in the line.

SO...the way I see it is this -  -  is he the grandson of William Ellis born 1846...grandson seems more feasible...we need to find

I can`t think for the life of me why this thread is on Herefordshire ?
Frodsham is in Cheshire 3 miles across the Mersey from Garston which is in Lancashire ?
someone should ask a Moderator which board they think it should be moved to,.....cheers
