It's surviving not too badly Ruskie. 3 tons of rubble from that fireplace alone! Carried down stairs by yours truly. I'm a 4th floor flat! Knackered my legs more than the floor.
It progresses and despite the work, the floor has survived. Once I've finished other work in the flat, I'll give it a light sand and a varnish and it'll be as good as old.
Don't be too shocked by the red. It's actually really warm and not as harsh as it looks in these pics. It's a big room, with a LOT of white woodwork and the big bay. Once I get my paintings back on the wall, I reckon it'll look good.
