Louisa,
I spotted William was a train driver.
You seem to have the same problems we all face from time to time. Are you able to look at the actual census record or just the transcription? Either way a bit of digging is required - often the spelling is wrong or transcibed wrongly. Don't forget not all births were registered.
Good luck

Hello DawnieMeg, since I started this, I have had to go back to the drawing board.  I knew on the census that Clara Collingwood, says she was born in Wakefield, my problem was  Cullingwood Wakefield or Collingwood Durham!!
Louisa.
p.s. are you on Anc****y

You could see what I have on the Pollards before I wipe them off

Hi Dawn,
first I have  to find Clara Collingwood who lived at Wakefield
and then I can rebuild my family tree, she was born c1867
I will get back to you if I find her!!
