Hi I am researching Maria Frances Geslin de Lautour. I think that she ‘s the daughter of Joseph Francis Louis de Lautour and Anne Hordle.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Interesting!

Let's look to see what we can find

Wishing us luck to find a match.

I've recently had a couple of hints via DNA matching but unsure of the significance.

I recently matched to two people who are descended from a Grace Elizabeth Frances Latour (1868-1924) she married a Thomas Walter Stanislaus Rebeiro (1852-1921) sometimes the Walter is changed to a William.

Do either of these names mean anything to you?

My Heritage is hinting that the DNA matches and my father share Great Great Grandparents, that would be John Lester Noel and Claudine Rose Latour. As Grace was born in 1868, that is before any of the Noel children were born, I'm wondering if Grace is the daughter of Claudine but possibly not John Noel.

1868 seems a little late for her to be a daughter of John Pierre Latour and Jeanne Rose, especially as I have Jeanne dying in 1831.

Interestingly one of Grace Latours children with Thomas Rebeiro is named Sylvia ROSE Rebeiro

This is highly likely a dead thread so my apologies if this is against the rules. I am yet another de Lautour descendant from Cecil Albert (being my 3rd G-G'father?) and slowly moving my way up the chain. I had got to the Count François and would love to see a copy of his likeness if it was still around.

Some very interesting things spoken about the family here! I feel like I might be about 10 years too late to join this party though  :D

My line goes down from de Lautour to Hodge in Australia/New Zealand.

Hope you are all happy and well.
