Hello Gilbert,

There are two or three dozen people with the surname Scott in the 1852 Directory of Belfast and Province of Ulster. Would you like all of these people? Have a look at the online extracts of Griffith's Valuation for Co. Antrim 1861-2 as well.

This thread scott sir name born antrim contains Scotts listed in the 1852 Belfast and Ulster Directory.

It would help if we knew if Alexander Scott had another given name as those people in the directory are shown with only one Christian name.
