John Pyne born 1781
« on: Thursday 21 October 10 13:10 BST (UK) »
Hi All
At the moment I seem to hit a brick wall.
I am looking for any infomation about John Pyne born in 1781 in Ireland (don't know where) and the info on the 1841 census was in the Poplar Workhouse in London. Also there was his wife Margaret. If I on the right track his children inc Daniel b 1813 or 1816 was living in Dingle lane just around the corner from the Workhouse. Daniel is my great great great grandfather.
If I can get any info this may connect me with my family tree to the Irish Pyne family.
At the moment I can't afford to get over to Ireland to look up the records there
Thanks

I would suggests you might get a better response if you post on the Ireland Board.

Any information about the Poplar workhouse i.e admissions etc if any survive will probably be held at the London Metroplitan Archives.
