Words Describing Date (Latin)
« on: Wednesday 20 October 10 15:16 BST (UK) »
Sorry to be a bother, but I have posted another part of the same sasine from my last post.

In the third line, there is a date that seems to read:
"septimo dio mensis Junij anno domini [1684]" (07 June 1684).

What are the words directly preceding this date (what is this date describing)?

Thank you,
Stefan Ramonat

I (finally) realized that it says "de mearns" right before the date.  Mearns refers to the town in Renfrewshire.  On the line above, I see it says something about "mea subscription," so I guess that the charter that forms part of the sasine was subscribed at Mearns on 07 June 1684.
