Potter/Springett in Kelvedon!!
« on: Monday 18 October 10 18:05 BST (UK) »
Hello all!

So basically, I (like everyone!) have been looking into my family tree, and have come across some Essex descendants I'd love some more info on if anyone has any connections/leads.

First is George Henry Potter, who--as far as I know--was born in Kelvedon in around 1855 to parents George Henry Potter and Mary Ann Springett. He married Mary Jane Freeman in Coleraine, Ireland, in 1872, and died 1932 in Port Glasgow, Scotland. Siblings are mentioned too: Henry, Henrietta, Daniel, Frederick, and Frederick William--info on them all is really quite patchy, so any hints would be helpful!

I believe his paternal grandfather were Charles Potter, and maternal grandparents Benjamin Springett and Sarah Ann.

As I said, if anyone has any further info on them, that would be great, so! Look forward to hearing from anyone! :)
                         Stewart Potter.

Hey Stewart,
If you're the only Stewart Potter in the family then until now you've just been a name in my family history records.  Would I be right in thinking you belong to George and Annie?  Or are you a later generation Stewart? My Nana was Molly and I live in Australia.  Would love to hear back from you and am happy to share all the Potter family history stuff that I have.
My email is *
cheers
Janie
