SFHG Marriage record CD query.

I'm not very experienced yet with computers!!!  I still can't get there!

But - I looked at the link on your previous message and that brings up extra names which suprised me because that is without using the SMI CD. I wasn't expecting that.

There is certainly a lot to explore both with the CD and my membership.

I'm impressed already with all the extra info for my tree though.

Just to say I got there in the end.

I have windows vista so had to read the cd folder in the first instance to be able to access the cd info.   Do I have to do that for the extra names each time?

You could copy the folder to your hard drive and access it there.

Don't want to be a nuisance to you, so I'll understand if you don't want to keep giving me lessons, you kindly answered my first question and then I seem to have opened a can of worms!!

It's not a difficult task but more difficult to describe when not knowing how much you know.  Simplest would be to get someone to show you.

Thanks    I appreciate it's very difficult to explain to me.

I'm slowly teaching myself as I experiment with things as I go along and have amazed myself with how much I can do but unfortunately that only works so far and does have it's limitations!!

At the moment I have the link you posted on my favorites bar and the record comes up via that.
