Using all the information you've provided, I've found a death notice from 1905 for John Lanyon, which mentions his sister Mrs James Clark of Maryborough.

Hi Debbie I have not seen a death notice but will try to find it. Can I ask which part of the family you belong to? My grandfather was Annie's son David. Our records indicate that James arrived in 1854 on the Forest Monarch . A local book on Majorca has a photo of him outside his blacksmiths shop in 1866. Glad to have been a help.

Thanks for the obit Trove is a great tool. I do have a photo of John and Honor 's grave and intend to visit his and James and Annie 's later this year. I do not know of your gggrandmother. We must go off in different directions. There is a lot on the Scottish side we do not know. Thanks again J
