Births June qtr 1868   Alfred Archibald D Franklin    Clerkenwell  1b 616

Births June qtr 1876  Blanche Mary Tottem   Holborn  1b 699

Blanche was born 21.1.1876 but not baptised until 24.4.1884 at Holy Redeemer Islington - father John Edwin occ Traveller and mother Mary Ambrona (1881 occupation for John is Goldsmith)

They also baptised another daughter on the same date - Annie Victoria born 31.1.1884

Alfred Archibald Douglas Franklin was baptised 18.7.1884 parents Henry and Annie.  Henry is shown as a Physician and the 1871 census shows him as a medical practitioner LRCP LM Ed LSA  Lond born City Rd Middlesex

They also baptised another child on the same date - Annie Eveline Whitbread?  free bmd shows she was b 1870

1871 census 120 St John St Clerkenwell - children all b Clerkenwell

Fathers were George Graften Tottem and Thomas William Webb both deceased and no occupations shown

Witnesses were Charles Antonio Tottem and Isabella ??

John Edwin Tottem 21 jeweller and  Ann Norah Ayres 21 spinster married 26.3.1857 at St James Shoreditch

Fathers were George Tottem jeweller and Jeremiah Ayres carpenter

Witnesses were William Cleland and somebody whose christian name is indecipherable and surname starts Curry

Fathers were George Franklin occ "gentleman" & Edwin Partridge Longman occ saddler

Witnesses were Elizabeth Pattison and William Win.........??

You will have seen the 1881 entry for the Tottem family - here they are in 1871 mis-transcribed as Tellom
