My Rogersons were Roman Catholic from County Roscommon, possibly County Galway (both now the Republic of Ireland) as well.
I understand that some Roman Catholics were baptized in the Church of Ireland for lack of a local RC church and I should check those records but haven't a clue how.
Any Ideas please

For pre-civil registration records you will need to research parish records, but you need to know a parish name or area - not just possible counties.
what years are you interested in searching ?
Full civil records started n 1864.

My Rogersons were from the same area. Have you found out how to search the Church of Ireland records?
