Re, james Parrot fishing smack lost in the great storm, from memory I believe it was called Morning Star, from the boof by Alec Gilll,Lost trawlers of the east Coast.

Hi Joe,

Welcome to the 'Parrott Watchers' !  Mary Elizabeth Hill is my 2nd cousin 4x removed ... Her mother Miriam Parrott is my 1st cousin 5x removed ... Miriams dad Richard Parrott is my 4th great grand uncle!  THanks to my Family Tree program that tells me these finer details!!!!  I don't have any Rank family in my tree, yet.  I would love to know where they fit in, or if they do at all.

Regards, Sharon.

Hello Parrott watchers, i found the family trees  ;D my ties go back to Elizabeth Parrotts' son James married Elizabeth Winter, 11 children / one called Richard married Mary Staples from Easington who then had 11 children, one called Miriam born 1834 married John Hill a mariner from Myton and had 9 kids, one called Richard married an Ada Rawling who gave birth to my grandma Mary in 1910. i have the tree of Rawlings back to 1790 (cow keepers in Oxford street) and a little history of the Hills, cheers Joe. ps what does that make us / other than removed ? :D

Now working through that you are mine and smike968's    5th cousin 1x removed!   ... I have John and Miriam having 10 children - Mary Elizabeth 1860-?, William 1862-1949, Kate Miriam 1864-1865, Betsey A 1866-?, Rosina Clements 1868-?, John 1870-?, Kate 1872-?, Richard 1874-?, Sarah 1876-?, Robert 1877-? ...  All names were from the various census.  Is one not correct?

Hi everyone,

Do any of you have any photos of headstones for any in our tree?  I have Fennell Parrott and Jane Best, also Samuel Best's headstone.  I am assuming most would be in the St Patrick's Churchyard.
