Isabella WATSON 1891 Census?
« on: Wednesday 13 October 10 11:04 BST (UK) »
Isabella WATSON is about 25 in 1891.  Possibly has her baby [Mary] with her in Beccles, Suffolk.  Or possibly Newport, Salop? She lives there for a couple of years.

She has quite a few children, I think.  I dont know if she married or when she died  ::)

Bedfordshire: Worker [Flitton]; Ames [Kempston]; Manton [Kempston]; Morris [?]; Valentine [Kempston]; Two & Osborn [Cranfield]

Herfordshire and West London: Brown [Kent in early 19th C]; Blackwell.
McCarthy [Clonakilty, County Cork - searching for needles in the haystack!] and LOSTY [Dublin]

Do you know where she was born Cathy? Have you found her in 1881 and 1871? You must know more about her than what you've told us.

The Beccles area of Suffolk it seems judging by 1901?  Now living in Caddington, Bedfordshire?  I am not too sure as I have only seen the index for 1901  :(

In 1901 they're enumerated as Walson living in Caddington:
Isabella Walson head marr 35 b Beccles; May 10 b Beccles, Gerty 8 b Newport Salop; Stuart 7 b Newport, Donald 6 b Luton; Leonard 5 b Luton; Dorothy 1 b Luton; Bessie 8mths b Luton

In 1911 Stewart 17 b Shropshire, Dorothy 11 b Luton and Bessie 10 b Luton were living in Sleaford Lincs  where the adult Watsons  in the household were Charlotte 49; Helena Marion 37, John 59 and Nicholas 48 - you need to buy credits to get the full details.

If you haven't already got one I think you need a birth cert of one of the children to establish whether or not she really was married eg Stewart Dennehy Watson Newport Salop March 1894 vol 6a page 764. If she wasn't married she certainly got about a lot - Beccles, Newport, Luton, Caddington
