Thank you for your interest!  That is a good idea re the newspapers, especially since one seems to be a double wedding. 

I think that the young men will all be the brothers, it would make sense because they had eight sons who lived.  They had 24 children altogether, this is just the male side!!

It really is a wonderful restore, Ivor has done a beauty too earlier in the thread?  I'm delighted with them both! 

I really can't tell with the age but I am sure that he is my Gt Grandfather.  Thas has been agreed by several people who met him.

Thank you for hinting that I had not mentioned Ivor,  I am mortified about that, I wouldn't miss him out for anything.

Ivor a million apologies,    I loved your colour version, but I clean forgot, because I was so busy with other things to mention it!   You know that is not like me to do that,  So very sorry!

Elin I will get back to this picture when I have a mo!  I have got gas engineers on my mind at the moment!

I am trying to work out who is who but I am hopeless with ages!

There is Joseph b 1886,  Charles b 1887, William 1888, Adolphus 1896, Hector 1900, Trevor 1901,
Richard 1902 and Sylvester 1905.  A couple of them seem obvious but others I don't have a clue.

I don't think that anybody has tried to identify which brother is which so I have had a go based on what I perceive as their relative ages. I think that the back row reading left to right is Hector, Charles, William, Richard, Trevor, Joseph and Adolphus, with Sylvester in the front between the older gentlemen. I think that Sylvester is between 11 and 13. Chrisann
