Personally I would say yes, although a lot of people would disagree with me. I use 2010 and find it much improved on the unloved (and rubbish) 2008, which was a complete change to 2006 and previous editions. I think it's a much cleaner look, better integration with Ancestry and has far more features. Like everything new it takes a while to get used to, but once you do it is easy to use and is completely different to 2005. However, having said all that, if you are running an oldish PC with XP I would stick with 2005, the newer versions do need more processing power and slow down older PCs.
