Hi Frank, I have been trying to research the decendants of Patrick Farrelly & Ellen Burke but with very limited sucess.
Your Burke ancestor must be Ellen's sister so any information you could share would be most appreciated & I can give you some additional information on the Brady side of your family.
Regards, Pat
Hi there, I am so confused by the absence of someone on the census also,
trying to find the following family:
Brady   John   48   1863   Male   Head of Family   Co Cavan   Ruan
Brady   Rose Anne   20   1891   Female   Daughter   Co Mayo   Ruan
Brady   Thomas Sylvester   17   1894   Male   Son   Co Mayo   Ruan
Brady   John   15   1896   Male   Son   Co Mayo   Ruan
Brady   Winifred   7   1904   Female   Daughter      Ruan
this is how they appear on the 1911 census but I am unable to find any of them on the 1901 census, i have searched each name, tried variations and searched all counties and can't find them. please help.
maybe i am missing them as i have been looking for ages now - RoseAnne Brady is my grandmother but I am trying to track down cousins also.

Thank you so much, I really look forward to hearing from you.
I have just spent the last few days in Galway & Mayo trying to get something concrete on this family but was not very successful so just decided to Google the few names I did have & got a link to your  information ;)
Thanks again.

Hi Pat,
I've looked on my tree and indeed Ellen Farrelly (nee Burke) is a sister of my great grandfather's 1st Wife, Mary Burke. The only info I have on them though is that she married Patrick Farrelly and had children Mary Ann Farrelly (1900), Ellen (1901), Alice (1903) and Patrick M (1906).  I can do some further research here if you wish and if you send me your e-mail address I can give you a link to my tree.  I will try to find out more on the Farrelly side for you but would be interested to hear any info you have on the Brady side also if you wouldn't mind.
Fran

HI -I am looking for a James Joseph Brady, born in 1890 in Ireland...had 9 siblings, father named John...mothers name unknown.

Placed in an orphanage when they were little....not sure at what age.....moved to Canada when he was between 14-18.

Do you think they are the same?
