Who did Lockwood Huntley,Beverley marry in 1902?

              Please can somebody help?   We have always understood that Lockwood remarried an Elizabeth Ann Dale in  1902, but there has been a mention of an Evelyn Stilborn,so which one was it?      Thanks as always    Shella.

How odd I can't see an Elizabeth Dale married in York March Q1902 yet I see an Evelyn Stilborn married in York March Q 1902. That matches the record for Lockwood!

I think this is a case for sending off for a marriage cert .. if you do the reference is York 9d 77

Accordfing to the 1911 free index, his wife was Elizabeth born 1867 so he married Elizabeth Rhodes in 1902.  Also on the index Dorothy born 1896 and Robert 1901.

There is  no Elizabeth Rhodes married in York 1902!!  I have looked for the Samuel Hudson also recorded in 1902 that appears on Free BMD married in York and he is not there either. It may be a mis description.. either that or I need new specs??

maybe Evelyn was known as Elizabeth in census's.. stranger things have happened in my family tree with name changes ?

this is the entry from Freebmd for 1902 York....2 grooms and 2 brides but it doesn't say who married who until 1911.  Looking at the 1911 census index, Elizabeth Huntley is in Beverley with Lockwood, so he must have married Elizabeth Rhodes but I would still get a copy of the certificate.
