Emily Sayer b1883 Croydon

Got a very 'nutty' problem here!
Emily Sayer was born 2nd qtr 1883 at Croydon, she married in Croydon 1st qtr 1905, there were 2 marriages there and then but I've deduced that her spouse was Silvanus Victor M. Taylor.
However, I've searched the birth records for him to no avail, also I can find neither of them on the 1911 census in England.
I wonder what happened to them?

There's a possible earlier marriage for him in Dec 1891, Bromley district.

Not sure if this is still a topic of interest, but there is an Emily Taylor, widow, aged 31, living Kings Lynn, Norfolk in 1911 census with her parents Henry and Susan Sayer. Has children Dorothy Taylor aged 5 and Geoffrey Taylor aged 1, both born Croydon, Surrey. Emily's age and birthplace wrong from your data, so could be a co-incidence. Have you confirmed her age from the marriage certificate?

Hi Gazz,
I cannot find her on the 1911 census and in any case Emily's parents were John and Eliza-so seems unlikely that it'd be her.

I think it's possible the Croydon records for Emily Sayer are two different individuals. Do you have the marriage cert?
In 1901 Emily Sayer age 17, born Penge, Kent (!), living Lewisham with widowed mother Eliza and sister Kate, as boarders at 31 Hawstead Road.
Emily Sayer age 21, born West "Deeham" (assume Dereham), living at 22 Edridge Road Croydon.

no I don't have the marriage cert but a strong contender died in 1958 in Surrey NE.
