Haven't been online  since the weekend, and my jaw just dropped when I read the news.

I too always enjoyed reading Ricky's  quick and wittty comments and helpful posts. 

He will be sadly missed.

My condolences to his whole family.

I have not been on RootsChat much lately so missed this shocking news. Ricky was a unique character and will be greatly missed. My sincere sympathy to all his family and all his many friends.

Oh no - I logged onto Rootschat for the first time today after a time away and found this post  :'(  Ricky, you were a true gentleman, a lovely man and your postings always made me laugh, you were a great tonic when feeling down. Thanks for your help and chats, you will be greatly missed.
