What terrible news - I'm so shocked and saddened by this. He was such a gentleman. I'm away for a few days so only just realised.

I don't believe it - what a terrible loss for us all on Rootschat and more importantly for his family.

In the very early days, as a regular user of Rootschat I loved chatting to Ricky and enjoyed his sense of humour immensely.

As a Moderator, I could rely on Ricky for a calm, objective point of view which was a priceless gift.  Always level-headed, he would still remind me of the funny side of things, while retaining a sense of justice and fair-play.

I will miss Ricky personally enormously.  No doubt he will be starting a heavenly thread "Ricky's Angels and ... "

May I send my condolences to his family, friends and all who knew him on and offline. I did not know Ricky but from what I have heard, he was a genuine good soul.
