Like so many I read the inital post informing us of Ricky's passing with disbelief and again like many the first word to come to mind was NO! As has already been said Ricky was an on line friend to many and his posts were informative when needed but also filled with wit and an added twinkle when called for. Although I was never helped by Ricky myself in my own search he had offered the genealogist hand of help to others who will be eternally grateful for him doing so.
R.I.P. Ricky, a friend to many across the airwaves and a Gentleman in the real sense of the word.

I am speechless and tearful at the moment  as I feel for Rickie's family

I have experienced this before as there are no goodbye's

But Rickie hope there is no pain for you and that your family
