Trying to find birth baptism details of Jane A EEDES.  Born about 1836 in Hurstpierpoint.
Think her father was James.
Any help would be wonderful.

Was she Jane Ann Eedes who married  june quarter 1859 Brighton Sussex/east Sussex 2b 308 who married William Smith

Jane Ann Eedes age 24 father James  married William Smith age 27 father Thomas 26 June 1859 Brighton Sussex

who then married William  Johnson age 35 father John  31st may 1873 Brighton     Jane Ann Smith(Eades) father James Eedes

Elizabeth ,25th Feb 1838 ,Dad Gardener

Susan, 28th Oct 1841

Looks like baby Susan didn't survive till 1851!
Any ideas on tracing the James Harriot marriage?

Sorry,i cant help with James`s marriage ,but,looking on the 1851 Harriet states she was from Highwycombe,which is in Buckinghamshire.

It maybe an idea to ask on that board.

I found Susan`s birth

Susan Eedes

Dec Q 1841

Cuckfield  7  289

Her death :(

June Q 1847

Cuckfield   7  252

Cuckfield Reg Dis covers Hurstpierpoint.

If you buy Susan`s birth cert from the GRO in Southport,at least you will get Mum`s maiden name.
