Would like any information that you can give me on the children of JOHN MALLOWS born approx 1790 in Flixton, Suffolk and ELIZABETH SAYER born approx 1789 in Mettingham, Suffolk, I believe they got married around 1810 in
Mettingham, Suffolk, but am not sure of this.

I note from the census that they were living in Hale, Norfolk in 1841 and 1851.

I can't find their marriage and the only children I can find were born 1820 to 1828 in Kirby Cane, Norfolk:

Fredric    bp.2/1/1820
William bp.28/10/1821
Nelson bp.18/5/1823
Eleanor bp.20/12/1824
James bp.17/12/1826
Samuel bp.3/2/1828

In the same period a Charles and James were having chidren too and from looking at census would appear probably brothers of John as both born Flixton too - Charles bc.1792 and James bc.1794.

Sorry forgot to put in previous message.   Was sent this information  dont know if correct or not, but marriage for John and Elizabeth is 29 October 1810 in Alburgh.    Maybe you might have better luck with more children in the first 5 years of marriage.

Can only find 1 possibility:

Charles Marlas bp.19/11/1815 Redenhall with Harleston, Norfolk, son of John Marlas and Elizabeth Sayer.

This is just down the road from Alburgh.

I note that John's parents were John Mallows and Susannah Lacey who married 2/11/1789 Flixton by Bungay, Suffolk (IGI).

John born before the marriage and listed as Lucey:

John Lucey bp.7/8/1789 Flixton by Bungay son of Susannah Lucey.

4 more born at Flixton were:

Charles in 1791, James 1793, Mary 1795 and Elizabeth 1797 (all on IGI).

The family then moved to Kirby Cane where Susanna bp.4/9/1799 (FreeReg).

However, John and Susannah returned to Flixton one presumes as they were both buried there (NBI).

John Mallows bc.1766 bur.3/10/1842
Susan Mallows bc.1767 bur.16/12/1852.

Cannot find any other children - other than the possible Charles (found on familysearch pilot site).   Have looked under all permutations of surname but there's simply nothing more online I'm afraid.

Thank you for all of this information on my lot of Mallows.

Your site has given me so much on my ancestors the Mallows, where other sites that I have left queries have given me nothing.

So thanks again

Any chance of finding more information on the rest of the Mallows, no hurry when you get a few minutes.

Thanks again
