Can anyone help?
Looking for a James Sloper he was born in March 1894 Pewsey
He would be around six i think on the 1901 census any help would be appreciated

Does Pewsey include Collingbourne?

Not sure about Collingbourne
The James Sloper i am looking for is a relative of a friend of mine and he died(james Sloper that is) in 1946 when my friend was just 4 years old
any help would be appreciated

Hi if it is of any help the Registration District of Pewsey, covers both Collingbourne Ducis and Collingbourne Kingston.

Hi Pam,

I would suggest that you get the death cert for the James Sloper that died in 1946, or do you already have this? Who was the informant?

Do you know if he married? There is a possible marriage in Sep Q 1918, Wycombe reg district to Violet Holloway, which I have not investigated (as he is a 3rd cousin 3x removed, so not a close relative), but might be worth you following up. He was living in Buckinghamshire with his parents on the 1901 & 1911 census.
