James williamson- Skegby & Sutton in Ashfield
« on: Sunday 03 October 10 18:09 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone

Does anyone have access to the following records please?

1.I am trying to find details of the birth of James Williamson who according to the Ancestry site was christened at Skegby in March 1785. His parents are shown as James/Mary & I wondered if there are any details listed of father's occupation etc. I have been unable to trace this birth/ch on IGI & wonder if the Ancestry information is correct.

2. I would also like any information on his marriage to Mary Chamberlain at Sutton in Ashfield in October 1815  i.e witness details, ages & place of residence if possible.

Many thanks
Carol
