Searching for any information on the Moss family from Mariposa Ca, my late father was Glenn Henry Moss born 3rd Oct 1912 in Rifle, Colorado, his parents John born 17th April 1883 and Emma Belle Moss 1st Oct 1891 both born in Colorado, John's parents were Henry J Moss and Susan E Carter.

Any help please

John and Emma 1910 Census Precinct 15, Garfield, Colorado

John Mass 25 Born Colorado. Father Colorado Mother Iowa. Marriage 1 for 1 year. Farm Hand.
Emma Mass 18 Born Colorado. Parents Missouri, Had 1 child and 1 survives.
Irma Mass 5 months.

Having difficulty finding them in Colorado or California after this -  ???

Medium height. Medium build. L. Brown Eyes. Dark Hair.

Can see John Moss and Emma listed on California Voters Registrations- 1900 - 1944  Mariposa County. Colorado Precinct. John a miner. Emma a housewife. Both -Non-Partisan

Also another with:- with Glenn H Moss - Hoisting Engineer. John a miner. Emma a house-wife. All Republican

Is there anything in particular that you're looking for?  In the future, it would be helpful to mention what information you have so we don't duplicate what you've already done.

Sorry I did not put more, as you can see I am new to this. I already have.

My father Glenn Henry Moss born 3rd Oct 1912 Rifle Colorado died 4th June 2001 in Merced CA.
His father John Moss born 17th April 1883 CA died 9th June 1962 Mariposa CA.
Glenn's mother Emma Belle Moss(maiden name Moss) born 1 st October 1891 Colorado CA died 27th Nov 1973 Mariposa CA. They had two other children Irma born 1909, I cannot find any death details and Helen Louise 1920-1939.

John's parents John J Moss born Illinois, Susan E Carter no other details.

Emma's parents James Robinson Moss other spelling (Mass) 14th Nov 1856 Missouri died 19th Dec 1940 Colorado . Sarah E Chasten 22nd Nov 1866 died 19th June 1947 Colorado. Had another child William J Moss born about 1899. I have other family memebers back to the 1700's on this side of the family.

I am stuck on the grandfthers's side John Moss.  ???

Any help is a huge bonus.
