There is no John Lunn death with that birthyear - they all have middle christian names

Was Mary Ann his wife or his sister

So did she marry  There is no point looking for a death for Lunn if she married.  You need to supply her maiden name

Have you checked freebmd for John Lunn's birthyear - there is none in 1907 for just plain John Lunn

That death does not show up on Ancestry under Staffordshire using a birthyear of 1907+-1yr

It only shows if you omit the birthyear and then physically search all entries for the age

There is a birth for John Tom Lunn but that death is just John

John Tom Lunn was b March qtr 1907 and died December qtr 1962 so would have been 55
