Hi,

According to my CD of Thame parish registers (Oxfordshire FHS), William Bonner bach otp married Louisa (X) Hounslow sp otp on Oct 5 1836.

The witnesses were John Simons & [?] Hounslow  (unfortunately it seems the first name was indecipherable).

There was a Louisa Hounslow baptised in Thame on Jun 3 1812, daughter of Edward & Sarah Hounslow.

If I've got this right -

if Andrew & Louisa are your great grandparents, and that Louisa was the daughter of William & Louisa, then William & Louisa are your great great grandparents.

Hi Jill
could i ask you  does it give Sarahs maiden name on Lousia birth in 1812,i also notice that on Lousia who was born in born in 1837 the informant on her birth cert was Lousia Hounslow aunt,so i think she was the one born in 1812 would i be right in thinking that?

Hi,

No -sorry , it doesn't give Sarah's maiden name in the baptism entry for Louisa in 1812. I did look to see if I could find Edward & Sarah's marriage in the Thame PRs but its not there.

It might be worth another post to find their marriage as there are a few Rootschatters who have the Oxfordshire Marriage Index CD.
