Hi,

There is a baptism record for a Henry Joseph Charles on 20/07/1823 at St Pancras but parents are listed as Henry & Mary Chapman.

Could it be possible he used Henry instead of Joseph. I can not locate them in the 1841 or 1851 censuses.

Hello Sharon
Thankyou for replying.I have searched for so long now and then I  looked on the son's(Henry Joseph)marriage certificate that I have and the witness was a Powell so I thought that I would look into Joseph Henry who married Mary Ann Powell to see if that gets me anywhere.
What do you think?

The only census I can find Henry on is the 1861 census with Fanny & family. He must have died  as Fanny is a widow in all following censuses.

Hi Sharon
Sorry I missed a message from you.His father was named as Henry and he was a letter carrier.I looked on Family search and they named his parents as Henry and Mary.
