I have Ferriers in Perth, but not of that name sadly. There are a number of Rootschatters interested in this name on different threads here. If you go to the search facility on Rootschat and enter "Ferrier" you'll be able to sift through the messages.

there are two Charles Ferriers:

Reference: PE1/20/1 Forename: Charles Middlename: n/a Surname: FERRIER Address: n/k Occupation: manufacturer Date Died: 12 January 1818 Age: 28y Cause of death: decline Burial Date: 14 January 1818 Cemetery: Greyfriars
This death record fits his birth date, and I couldn't find him in any censii.

With a middlename of Bisset, it may indicate an ancestral surname, such as paternal or maternal grand mothers and on this train of thought, there is a gravestone for Ann Bisset, in Greyfriars Churchyard:

Hi Jimmijam, Sorry for late reply.  Thanks for all your info on the Ferriers of Perth. Have most of this info but having difficulty getting past Alexander Ferrier and his wife Jean Stewart (father: Thomas Stewart).  Really great to see the photos from the churchyards particulary from this far away.

Chris Paton is coming to Perth Western Australia and we are going to his talk this comming Monday night.

Sorry about late reply.  Thank you for the info and the link. Yes, I do have a copy of the LDS church record for Charles Bissett Ferrier and his siblings,  also his father  Alexander Ferrier and Jean Stewart's marriage cert. It is quite frustrating trying to match up all the dates and names especially when a family name is repeated for generations.
