My dad dint leave much to go on he hardly ever spoke of his past so from 1886 to 1917 he don't ex-hist, He only told us he was an orphan but where and for how long nothing. When he left St John in 1917 he was required to fill out a I.D booklet on his arrival in England giving his place of birth as Bangor Pinobscot county Maine fathers name John deceased. I lived and worked in Maine for four years and searched records and asked questions all over the state but with no results. My reason for all this above info is in case someone opens this sight it may help. He may in his youth served as a cabin boy aboard ships for he knew the sea coast and ports from N.Y to Novascotia and ships rigging from stem to stern. Thanks again
