Relatives
« on: Thursday 23 September 10 12:04 BST (UK) »
  Hi, All,

In 1953, Alfred G. Jones, b.1926, married Eva Doris Pedley, b.1928.  The marriage took place in Birmingham.

Eva had a half-brother called Thomas Pedley, who was the lone survivor of the famous Pedley fire in Adams Street, Ashted, Birmingham, in January 1927.

Alfred and Eva were born about the same year that I was, so since I am still here, maybe they are...

Otherwise, maybe they had children.  If they did, I would like to hear from them, because they are my relatives -  second or third cousins, in fact.

  Anyone have any info?

  Cheers,

  pedlar

Morganllan,

I hang my head in shame.  Never gave it a thought after this particular skeleton jumped out of the closet...!

Then again, I must confess that when I  found Roots, I was so impressed with the facilities, i never gave 'Rules' much attention.

Sorry, again, and your reprimand is noted.

  Cheers,

  pedlar

Have you tried the Birmingham History Forum?  They're not so fussy, there's even a sub-forum for Lost Family.  Good idea to put the surname in the thread title, it may catch someone's eye.
UK census content is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk  Transcriptions are my own.
