Ellen Wilding -50
Thomas Wilding 19 Smith Ap,Roger Wilding 18 Currier Ap,Edward Wilding 16-Joiner Ap,Mary Wilding 15 Dressmaker,
Richard Wilding 12, and Joshua 11
*Joshua date if trial 3/12/1847 location of trial Lanacashire sentence 3month for fraud(His brother Thomas was transported to Van Diemans land for 14years.
Now would this be the family .Found a entry for Thomas Wilding born 1779 in Woodplumton.Notes Woodplumpton is a village and civil parish in City of Preston.
Thomas married a Ellen Porter 13/4/1814
Children John 1814,James1815,Henry 1817,Ellen 1820-1913,Thomas 1821,Rodger 1823,Edward1824,Mary 1827,Richard1827 and Joshua 1829.

Thanks Trish. I presume the parents Thomas and Ellen Wilding -her maiden name was Porter?
Think there is about three Wilding families around the time,so it was a bit confusing there for awhile.
Hopefully I can be in contact with someone who is interested in the tree as it is a colourful one after Thomas was transported to Van Diemans Land for 14 years......

I `ve gone up to 1830...but sometimes couples went 10 years and then had another child ,so it`s worth checking on the 1841 census....but it looks to me as though they only had 4 children....allan
ADDED...I have found 2 earlier births
James Wilding b 12 nov 1815  babtised 17th dec 1815   same church/parents...but abode is CATFORTH.....
Henry Wilding b 11th sep 1817 - babtism 9th Nov 1817  same church /parents abode  Catforth...so there were 6 children....2 born Catforth and 4 born Lea.......all babtised St Annes ,Woodplumpton to Thomas and Ellen Wilding...so we need a marriage about 1814.....allan

Catforth is a village in the Woodplumpton area -see wilkpedia
Lea is also in this area
...so basically all I have added is the actual birth dates of the children I have mentioned and the villages they were born...but
where are John 1814
Mary 1827
Richard 1827
Joshua 1829  ??
probably John was born Kirkham and maybe the particular Parish Church records are not transcribed  and maybe after 1825 birth of Edward they may have moved home again to a Parish which again is not transcribed....allan
