But how can you get back to Samuel Henry bapt. 1841 in 1st Garvagh? You've so far this morning tried to connect Samuel and his father John Henry to Henrys of Culnady (roughly south of Garvagh) and now Henrys of Macosquin which is north of Garvagh.
Have you found any of your Henrys in 1901 and 1911 census? If so, what townland are they in?

They aren't in it but i know they lived outside garvagh to the north. I got his baptisim on emerald ancestors and i'm not connecting them to macosquin they are from there, and then i am connecting him to culnady through his death registered on the proni wills.

You still aren't answering the questions I've asked and I don't know how much plainer I can make this.

Have you found any of your family in 1901 and 1911 census? If so, what townland are they living in?

If you are descended from Samuel Henry and Rachel Taylor- which child is your ancestor? They had at least 8 children born 1866-1879,
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Samuel Henry that married Rachel Taylor is listed in 1901 census under Balinteer South which is Macosquin-
www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Londonderry/Bannbrook/Ballinteer_South/1517312

They had a son Hugh Henry born 24 Feb.1874 - is this the one you mean?
There was also a Hugh Moore Henry of Ballyvennox, son of a John Henry.

Eight children of Samuel Henry and Rachel Taylor baptised Macosquin Presbyterian Church 1866-1879. See box #19 of church microfilms at Coleraine Library.
