Knight Bevas Patterson

Hi
 I have two ancestors with this unusual name but I have also found two more birth records of people who must be relatives but I cant find the link!

Knight Beavers Patterson born Weardale 1865
Knight Bevas Patterson born 28 Sept 1901 Auckland Durham died  1979.

I cant afford to purchase records every time I have a hunch so would appreciate any info anyone has on  these two.

Also  have a number of Dayman Patterson's in my tree too and many records of births deaths and marriages which I cant  pinpoint to an individual so any info on these would be greatly appreciated too.

On IGI (submitted) as  Knight Beevus PATTERSON b 3 Mar 1839, Wolsingham, Durham to parents:
Dayman PATTERSON & Ann ROSS - they are on the 1841 & 1851 Census and no son Knight there, so he is probably the one who died 1839.  They have a son Adam, age 8 on the 1851.

John PATTERSON 14 - Y ( suspect he is supposed to be age 4 here and same John as on 1851 age 13, above))

This one is born after the 1901 Census.
Maybe this is one of the 2 you already have information on.

The parent  of 2), Dayman - is probably the brother of 1) - both sons of George PATTERSON & Isabella VASEY
The parent of 3),Adam  -  is probably brother of 2)  - ie: both sons of Dayman PATTERSON and wife Ann ROSS

You say you have number of Daymans etc - if you tell us what you have for the ones you are having trouble with, maybe we can try fit them to the probable right family(s) for you.

As you suspected I already had  1 and 2. Number three was one I hadn't worked out so I've sorted him now.

Knight Bevas 1901 is th one I cant place. Think I am going to have to get birth cert!

 The records I have for Dayman Patterson which I cant fit to anyone at the  moment are

Dayman Patterson born 1917 Co Durham

Dayman Patterson married 1979 St Pancras, London

Damon Patterson married 1926 Tynemouth Northumberland


Damon Patterson died 1927 age 0

Dayman Patterson married 1893 co Durham

 
Damond Patterson married 1877 Auckland Durham

I also have 2 WW1 medal index cards for Daymen Patterson in different Regiments and about 6 or 7 death records but I have 12 Daymen's in my tree so there are options for which record belongs to who !
I'll just have to keep digging!!

Unless you can access by credits, the 1911 census, to research Knight Bevis born Auckland Durham December 1901 I would think you will have to buy his, birth certificate,

Thanks for info. I have access to 1911 census but Knight Bevas is not on there.  Or at least I cant find him!!!!
So it looks like I'll have to wait till I can get certificates.

Just having another look round for your Knight Bevas I can see his birth in 1901 Aucland Durham and strongly suspect his death is registered in J/A/S/ 1979 Durham Northern Tyne and Wear,but where is he in between.

Have finally found right family for Dayman Patterson 1917 !  It just took me a while with over 130 Pattersons to trawl through to find the one who married a Turnbull.
