could anyone help me please
my uncle worked at  a mill called Emery Mill, he lived in Newington Southwark England but i dont know where the Mill was or what was produced there his occupation was listed as an abrasive Mill hand any information would be gratefully recieved.

Presumably he worked producing emery, which is an abrasive mineral. Apparently the emery board was patented in 1883 (so called because it's basically emery glued on a stick), but there would have been industrial uses, too.

What time period was this? You might be able to find something in directories.
