Hi there not sure if I am in the right place to post this.  My G/G/grandfather John fox born West Morton married Elizabeth Churchill born Portisham in the July quarter 1838 at Dorchester, is there anybody who may have access to the original registars who could take a look at some time and could let me know his and her father's names.

There's no way of knowing which register to look at . The GRO ref covers many churches and it could even have been register office, in which case the certificate is the only way to get the information.
