Hi,

I am now looking at John Havard, born abt 1859 in Wales. I know that he died in Aug 1936 in Christchurch, NZ & is buried in a pauper's grave in Anderson's grave, Dunedin, death reg. number 1936/20477. (Obtained from a NZ relative.)

I cannot find when he sailed from England, other than it was after our 1881 census, but can anyone pick up on him please.

Hi mrsd, I am also looking for Havards from Wales in particular from Llangwm.
My gg-grandmother was Abigail Havard or Halfhead,born 1854 and went to Oz in 1873-4,  any connection to your area of interest? Cheers
