Ware marriage lookup - HALFHEAD

Mary Halfhead married John Russell at Ware (St Mary) on 18 Feb 1792.  It might have been an interesting ceremony – a Mary Russell (daughter of John and Mary) was baptised some three months later!

If some kind soul is able to look up the actual parish record I would be very grateful to learn of any other details.

Hi Juniperus,

The marriage entry in the Parish Register was quite normal and with no other comments added.  The witnesses were Job CREWE and Robt. WEBSTER.
(Robert was the Parish Clerk and signed the register whilst the other three made their mark (x).

The observation that John and Mary made their marks was quite unexpected - and might prove useful!
