adamson moate co westmeath

i am trying to find my grandfather francis adamson born 1897 moatgranoge moate co westmeath.
he is listed on 1901 census, so is 5 other adamson familys yet on 1911 none of them can be found.
i have tried for years to find him but no luck, i know he married a anne nolan from inchmore island.
my mother margaret adamson was born in westmeath and so was her sister.
any help would really be appreciated.

Are you sure they were in Ireland in 1911?

Think this might be the right Mary Adamson in 1911- gives birthplace as Moate-

Hope the birth index and marriage index I gave you in chatterbox were of help.......let us know if you get the certificates.

And as I said, a lot of the townlands/streets in Moate have indeed been missed from the 1911, so not just Adamson families. They could be on the original microfilms/returns and just missed in error, or have been too poor a quality to digitise.

Am a bit confused as you've said you've gotten no replies about Moate family, the 'other' Cyril isn't you and I can't see any other Moate posts you've made  :-\

discovered francis was born 04 oct 1898,
was in the irish army signal corp, collins barracks service no 20730.
discharged 08 feb 1926.
