At first glance I'd say Pruddero  :-\

Maybe a little more of the image would help to identify similar letters in other words?

Have adjusted the contrast, colour etc and think it says   PRUSDERO.    What do you think?

I agree the middle letters look rather like "sd", but I'm inclined to stick with my first thought, if only because it's the only actual surname I can find that fits . . .

Incidentally, I did a G**gle search after I posted that, and my post was 3rd item on the list, "posted 38 seconds ago" . . . their search engines are damn quick !!!

Looks like a "d" on the end of the name to me.
Steadwood worldwide, Horsburgh, McBean (and variants), Pride, Ross, mostly in the Lothian and Borders area, Ingles and variants from Buckie, Wilson, Stoddart.
