Hi Jean.....Its strange you should bring your Sykes post back to life as I remember with fondness all them months ago(or was it years  ;D ;D all the digging up and around we did looking for them, beavering away till all hours..strange how certain posts recall things that like...all good fun

This is also my line.
Sophia Sykes and James Schofield are my ancestors.  Their daughter, Eliza, is my great-grandmother.
Their line gives me a headache because near as I can tell, there are at least 5 marriages between them.  Trying to sort out all their children is crazy.   :o
