Thanks for the info on Richard Brigge and confirming the name Fendyke!

I think some of the names in the 'Northern geneaologist' maybe confirmed shortly as I've now got a Will for a John Tupholme dated 1559 and I'm just about to post it with some some words I'm struggling with but so far I've found a Jennet Strutt and Agnes Coocke mentioned.

Hi

 I have just noticed and read some of the will of John Tupholme.

The Tupholmes have a Lincolnshire Pedigree and on the Swarby Fairfax one, I have Elizabeth Fairfax married to Nicholas Tupholme of Boston. I have not gone any further with that, but it looks like I will need to have a look!

I am a member of the Fairfax Society and need to investigate that link. I saw Elizabeth is the daughter of George Fairfax of Bolingbroke Merchant of the Staple Calais and Alice Bradley of the Bradleys of Louth. The Tupholmes, Skinner [spelt in different ways] and Fairfax etc are all linked.

We have just had the AGM at York so I am on catch up!
