Afraid I know very little about my uncle, and I believe my cousin knows about the same. By the way, though I have not yet attempted the transcription of parts 4 and 5, I have discovered the following from Pishey Thompson's 1856 "History of Boston"
A Sir William Tupholm died in 1530,he was Parson of Waydingham and Chauntry Priest of Dockdyke (sic); John Tupholm was elected Alderman of the Borough in 1545, and was Mayor in 1547. For a tax levied by Henry VIII in 1547 his goods were valued at £100.From the time line I would imagine that this William was a grandson of Sir William, and the son or nephew of John, the former Mayor of Boston. Have you checked the Boston Parish registers?
