John Frederick Dreher

I am looking for any help tracing John's history.

He married Elizabeth Wathall in Derby, England 1835 and died in Derby 1853. I believe all the Drehers of Derby are descended from this marriage and it is likely that all the Drehers of Manchester are too!

However, all I know about John's history is he was born c1816 in Germany (or possibly Austria) and he was a Pork Butcher.

Not a lot to go on but here's hoping.

I am Kevin Dreher's daughter, but do not know why the family left Bavaria, they would never tell me!
