Access to Newspaper Archives for 1909
« on: Saturday 11 September 10 17:35 BST (UK) »
Hi,

Does anyone have access to any newspaper archives that would cover the Banchoy Ternan area in August 1909.

One of my relatives William Masson died from a gunshot wound to his chest on the 9th of August.   His death record states that he died in a field on the farm of Baldarroch Crathes Banchory Ternan between the hours of 4 and 8 am and I would love to find out more !!

Any help very much appreciated  :)

Would Kincardine, Banchory and Crathes be covered by an Aberdeen Paper?
Or would the Scotsman possibly cover the same area.  Not too far away based in Edinburgh I believe.

Can anyone help?  I had a subscription with the Scotsman, probably does not exist any longer, but could try if the paper would cover this area.
