Actually ,
Cancan my project is still going on up ,at St Albans in Earsdon Northumberland, slow progress, due to bad weather, this year,I have now one helper ,who is great, but like me, small for her age,we have hacked back so much ivy ,you can nearly access the hidden head stones, and we have found many interesting epitaphs of which we record, sadly the local Tyneside council is not at all supportive of our efforts, they came in last year, for the centenary of the Hartley disaster, laid a new path down from the church, tidied up a bit,and then disappeared of into the mist again,so we will plod on under our own steam, compared to the  jungle I first encountered on my first visit, when I  started, with a lot of care you can get into the woods and search for your ancestors, resting place,so if anyone reads this and lives in the North East you would be welcome to join us,tools needed and strong gloves, call into the Cannon in Earsdon, first, the land lord or lady will tell you if I am around, due to me having to drive three hours to get there, from Cumbria, its usually a Wednesday,
Have a great Christmas, and the next time I am coming down to Manchester ,I will let you know,

Three hours! Thought I was batty to do an hour's trip!
And I'm not even the one doing the driving!  ::)

Haven't been much help this year, we were rained off every time I was ready to go - except for that one time it was too hot!
Hopefully I'll get there more often next year

Merry Christmas!
