Hi,

C362, is in Church Plot 1,  there is no headstone, the was one originally, as the plot register states there was a Full Headstone, this area was badly vandalised.  At in the 1970's and 80's lots of stones were removed due to vandalism.

I can tell you that the Grave Plot was purchased by Frederick Carter
deed no: 1860.

I will send you a PM to ask for your email address and we can send you a map of the exact location.

Hi,

As we can see from our little icons with their Santa Hats - Winter is now here.  The MGCTP will now be on Winter Break until Feb/March 2013 Weather permitting.
I would like to say A Very Large Thank You to those who have turned up to the Ground Work days this year, even in the very bad weather. Especially 'Beannie' - finally I have bought that flask

Hopefully next year for the weather will be better than this year.  Next year is to be DIG DIG DIG.  And all hands greatly appreciated.  As all covered gravestones have been re-mapped and those not too deep will be uncovered, but now that they are all re-mapped on our new mapping system it is easier to locate them.

New updates and information will be added to the website over the winter, and Manchester Council have now, I believe, finished re-erecting the gravestones in the Cemetery.

We are still open for business of lookups, photo's etc., via Rootschat & the MGCTP website.  And A Big Thank You also to LUZZU for her wonderful work on the website and research.  Looking forward to seeing your again in 2013 - bring those Marigolds!!!

:) ;) :D Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year To A Fantastic Team! :) ;) :D
