Our car also has heatstroke I think, so couldn't have got there tomorrow anyway!

Certainly is too hot for digging, I tried to do a bit of gardening today & lasted about 5 minutes!

Due to the predicted Rain for Sunday, I'm posting early to cancel as with it being the Jubilee Weekend I don't want to leave it last minute for those who were going to come enabling you to make other arrangements.

Fingers crossed for the 10th June.

Leaving today!!! Sorry !! forgot to log on had a busy week.

Ground will be sodden after all the rain we've had this week so not good to dig.

Hopefully we'll be able to make it next week

Just received some team pics from Cancan to put on the project website but thought I would share a couple here too. Loved meeting you all and really wish I could take part more often. If any newcomers want to get involved, everyone is welcome. We are a friendly group. Just watch the posts on this thread for when we will be down at the Cemetery (usually Sunday mornings) and just turn up. Everyone gives as much time as their personal commitments allow. As well as being really interesting we have a lot of fun and spending the morning digging gives you a great workout. If you value your nails though, I recommend a pair of marigolds

Sadly once again the weather has not been kind to us, the Ground at the Cemetery is absolutely Sodden. So once again will not be good for digging or clearing off the Gravestones.

Lets keep our fingers crossed for next Sunday
